The Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup, is a domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Afghanistan, organized by the Afghanistan Cricket Board and first contested during the 2024 season.
The competition will serve as the preparation for national players and the criteria for team selection ahead of the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
History
The League was established in 2024 titled as Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup. Five regional teams participated in the event and it was a successful initiative by Afghanistan Cricket Board. The champion of the first league was TBD for the inaugural edition of the tournament.
Qosh Tepa National T20 Cup is een landelijk Twenty20-crickettoernooi in Afghanistan dat wordt georganiseerd door het Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB). Het toernooi werd voor het eerst gehouden in 2017 en wordt jaarlijks gehouden. De competitie bestaat uit zes teams die afkomstig zijn uit verschillende regio's van Afghanistan. De teams spelen in een round-robin-formaat, gevolgd door een knock-outronde. Het toernooi wordt gespeeld in het Qosh Tepa Cricketstadion in Kabul. In 2023 won Band-e-Amir Dragons het toernooi door in de finale te winnen van Kabul Eagles.
